Screw Your Neighbor

The Game

Each player places a dealer-specified number of coins (often three quarters) in front of them. The game consists of a series of hands, with the deck being shuffled only when necessary. At the end of each hand, the player with the lowest (Aces are low) hand pays one of their coins into the pot.

The Play

In each hand, the dealer gives one card to each player. The player to the dealer’s left goes first and decides whether to keep their card or trade it. If they decide to keep they say so, and play continues to their left. If they decide to trade they give their card to the player to their left, who must give up their card, unless they hold a King.

Ending the Game

When a player runs out of coins they are out of the game. Play proceeds until only one player is left with coins. They then take the pot, and the game ends.
