The Game

Played as Five-Card Draw, but players must hold a pair of Jacks (or better) in order to open betting. If unable to open the betting, everyone antes again, and the cards are dealt again.

Ending the Game

Once the bet is opened, play as in Five-Card draw.

Variation

Dealer should also indicate if a target hand (e.g., “trips”) is required to win the pot, and if the deal will rotate should no one have a winning hand after the draw phase.
