Circle Of Death

The Game

Players build high and/or low poker hands with community cards. The dealer should indicate whether there will be a draw phase (Kevorkian variant).

The Deal

Each player is dealt four cards face down, then six cards are dealt face down in the middle of the table (arranged in a circle).

The Play

After the deal, there is an initial round of betting. Subsequently, the dealer will turn up one of the cards from the circle, followed by another round of betting.

Ending the Game

Players build their best high/low hands with the following restrictions: for each type of hand, they can only use two cards from their hand, and the three cards they use from the community circle must be adjacent on the circle (“contiguous”). High and low poker hands split the pot.

What Wins

Having the two lowest cards not on the table guarantees at least a part of the pot. High hands are player’s luck (think Texas Hold ‘Em).
