Killers released

Putting together the cover for this was an interesting process; Steve had some specific ideas for the imagery taken from the story, and we wanted to stay with the theme we built for the first EP book, A Dangerous Man. I have used 3D software for illustration before, notably the Wild Geese book cover image, but this went to a whole new level, incorporating some of Daz3D Studio’s built in character models, some relatively inexpensive object models I purchased through both Daz and TurboSquid, and a lot of trial and error. It took a few iterations to get the right look, swapping models, props, etc., and I had to fight a file corruption error that meant I couldn’t really save any of my work for a while, but we finally got it together. I am pretty pleased with how things turned out.
