Most commonly, pushes are a low cost, and shucks are higher (e.g. dime\/quarter). At the end, the high poker hand splits the pot with the low poker hand. The dealer should also establish whether players can push any up card, or only the last one they received, as well as declare the process for the backfill below.<\/p><p><br \/><\/p>\n\n<p><h2>The Deal<\/h2> After the initial ante, deal one card face down to each player. Starting with the player to the left of the dealer, the top card from the deck is offered to the player: they may keep it or pay the cost to push it to the next player. <\/p><p><br \/><\/p>\n\n<p><h2>The Play<\/h2> If the dealer has defined the backfill as immediate, when a card is pushed, the pusher gets the replacement card prior to the next player deciding whether to keep or push, otherwise backfill once a card is kept or goes to the discard. Once all players have the same number of cards, a round of betting ensues. Continue until all players have five cards (betting after each), after which all players have an opportunity to shuck (discard and replace) one card.<\/p><p><br \/><\/p>\n\n<p><h2>Ending the Game<\/h2> After the shuck, and a final round of betting, the high poker hand splits the pot with the low poker hand.<\/p><p><br \/><\/p>\n\n<p><h2>What Wins<\/h2> Relatively easy to build a good low hand with the shuck at the end.
